DPL light affects the metabolite of Acne bacteria, responsible for the formation of acne lesions.
This metabolite - porphyrins, under the influence of heat, contributes to the formation of reactive oxygen anions. The anaerobic Acne bacteria are killed by these oxyanions. As a consequence, we can observe the silencing of the existing ones and the reduction of the formation of new inflammatory changes.
VASCULAR THERAPY
In the treatment of vascular lesions using DPL, the target chromophore is oxyhemoglobin present in erythrocytes. Endogenous heat breaks down the dye and seals the vessel. Additionally, thanks to the increased synthesis of collagen and elastin fibers, the condition of the skin improves. It becomes thicker and compact, thanks to which the blood vessels become less visible and the erythema becomes less visible.
